Senior Officer, Compliance

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Officer, Compliance to join the team at Western Union. As the Senior Officer, Compliance, you will be responsible for ensuring that all activities within the organization are compliant with applicable laws and regulations and in accordance with the internal policies and procedures of the company. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of legal and regulatory requirements and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You must also be highly organized and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. If you have the necessary qualifications and experience, we would love to hear from you! Responsibilities: Monitor and review compliance with applicable laws and regulations and internal policies and procedures. Identify and analyze potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate those risks. Keep abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations and advise senior management on any necessary changes in policy or procedures. Provide advice and support to other departments on compliance-related matters. Liaise with external stakeholders, such as regulatory bodies and auditors, to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance program to ensure that all activities within the organization are compliant with applicable laws and regulations. Design and deliver training sessions on compliance issues to all staff. Prepare reports for senior management on compliance activities. Conduct internal audits and reviews to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Monitor the performance of the compliance program and identify areas for improvement.
