[WEBTOON] Freelance WEBTOON Script Writer (Freelance/Independent Contract)

We are seeking a talented Script Writer to work on a freelance basis. Writers will work closely with the WEBTOON Production team, crafting scripts for original and adapted series. The ideal candidate will have a background in vertical scroll comics, though we are interested in creative professionals across a variety of disciplines, including but not limited to animation and games. We are actively sourcing writers who are interested in the Action, Horror, Thriller, and Mature Romance genres. Responsibilities: • Write WEBTOON scripts, and make revisions based on feedback from the Production team • Adapt books and other materials to WEBTOON scripts, and edit scripts for production • Work closely with Producers to ensure the story is translated effectively into comic format Requirements: • Familiarity with WEBTOON or vertical scroll comics formats is a MUST. • A strong portfolio showcasing your work (Applications without portfolios or samples attached will not be considered). • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a Creative team. • Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality. • A student or graduate in/of an accredited program, or comparable work experience.
