Azure Software Architect – Up to $200,000 • 100% Remote Pay Range Base pay range: $180,000 - $200,000 per year Our client, a consulting firm recognized for its expertise in digital transformation and cloud innovation, is looking to welcome a Senior Cloud & DevOps Consultant to support the modernization and optimization of their clients’ IT environments. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in cloud strategy, application modernization, DevOps transformation, analytics, and artificial intelligence—combined with strong business acumen. As a strategic partner, you will help organizations innovate, grow, and enhance their operational performance through modern and proven technology solutions. Key Responsibilities • Support clients in modernizing their IT and software development practices. • Provide consulting services using Microsoft Azure, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and various open‑source solutions. • Lead engagements in one or more of the following areas: • Cloud Strategy & Governance • Analytics & Artificial Intelligence (AI) Cloud Strategy & Governance • Define cloud migration and adoption strategies. • Implement governance frameworks and containerization approaches. • Oversee application development and containerization. • Drive DevOps and Agile transformations. • Modernize practices and CI/CD toolchains. Analytics & Artificial Intelligence (AI) • Design advanced analytics architectures. • Deploy data and AI pipelines into production. • Act as a technical and strategic leader: analyze processes, design solutions, define architectures, lead projects, and ensure deployment and operationalization. • Mentor and coach client teams throughout the project lifecycle. • Participate in pre‑sales activities: proposal writing, statements of work (SOW), and project estimations. • Contribute to various initiatives when not assigned to a client project: • Internal projects (development of new service offerings, tools, or internal training) • Professional development (certifications, technology watch, continuous improvement) Candidate Profile • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. • 10+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in consulting, strategy, or IT transformation. • Strong expertise in Azure cloud and the DevOps ecosystem (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.). • Excellent understanding of Agile, CI/CD, and infrastructure‑as‑code practices. • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and positively influence business stakeholders. • Relevant professional certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer Expert, etc.) — a strong asset.
