Since the Broadcom acquisition we have doubled down on our efforts to focus on VCF 9 and ensuring best in class Design, Deployment and Configuration, and ultimately consumption of VCF 9 as true Private Cloud Platform for customers. Who You Are: As a 27 Virtual Full Stack VCF 9 Architect you will have a strong background in the ability to Design, Deploy and Configure the entire VCF 9 stack. You must be able to design VCF 9 solutions for various desired customer outcomes and various datacenter environments including but not limited to single site, metro stretched clusters, multi-site and global deployments. A deep understanding of the required hardware and software for the entirety of the VCF 9 deployment is required. You may also specialize in some other aspects of the stack such as: (VCF Networking (NSX/SDN), Security, Automation and now Operations). You will be leading VCF 9 Design Workshops, ensuring the best possible final design outcome, and overseeing the initial deployment phase of the project. In this role you would lead our team(s) to deliver validated and collaborative VCF 9 designs based on VMware by Broadcom best practices. The ideal candidate will possess the technical acumen to lead VCF 9 Design Workshops that first educate, then create design options and ultimately lead the customer to best possible final design decisions. Presentation skills are key. In this role you will be the go-to VCF 9 resource to your broader 27 Virtual Team and customers. As a 27 Virtual VCF 9 Architect. Achieving the Broadcom Knight status would be a primary goal. What You’ll Do: · Lead your own assigned VCF 9 projects from beginning to end: Design, Deploy, Configure and Validate. · Lead/Oversee other team members VCF 9 Projects to successful completion and maintain full accountability for customer satisfaction. · Enable both the internal sales team with the sale and the customer to allow them to make the most educated decision to suit their business. · Act as a consultative strategist. Articulate solution design, integrating both technical and business concepts, and present a transformational journey to customer. · Confidently gather use case requirements and creation of high and low-level enterprise designs while functioning as a resource for “Best Practices” and driving adoption of VMware by Broadcom solutions. · Ensure you are maintaining your certification requirements and knowledge of the VMware product line. What You Bring: · You possess high integrity and personal accountability. · You have 3+ years of experience in customer-facing positions as a technical resource. Ability to communicate technical matters to a non-technical audience. · VCF 9 Deployment experience in real life or Lab environment · Active listener and progressive learner. · You have 2+ years of VCF Implementation Experience. · You have been the lead engineer for 10+ deployments for Enterprise Customers. · You possess a proven understanding of the following cloud management systems: VCF, Aria, vSAN and SDDC Manager. · Demonstrates technical writing capabilities and has consistent documentation habits for knowledge transfer. · Proven track record of on time and under budget project completion. · Obtained bachelor’s degree in computer science and or 3+ years of relevant experience OR 8+ years of relevant experience required. · VMware vSphere, NSX, vSAN and VCF certification required. · VMware VMC on AWS or relevant certification preferred but not required. · Experience of presenting at a user group, trade show or similar is highly desirable.
