[Remote] Global Supply Chain Director

They are seeking a Global Director of Supply Chain & Procurement to design and implement a modern supply chain model that aligns with the company's growth ambitions, focusing on transformation and strategic value creation. Responsibilities • Design and lead a global S&OP (or IBP) framework that aligns demand, supply, capacity, inventory, and financial targets • Move the organization from reactive planning to scenario-based, data-driven decision-making • Establish cadence, governance, and accountability across regions and functions • Improve forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory turns, and cash performance • Own the full supply chain lifecycle, from demand planning and sourcing through production alignment, logistics, and delivery • Identify structural inefficiencies and redesign processes to improve lead times, reliability, and scalability • Balance global standardization with regional flexibility • Lead procurement as a strategic lever, not a cost-only function • Develop category strategies, supplier segmentation, and risk mitigation frameworks • Strengthen supplier partnerships while improving cost, quality, sustainability, and continuity of supply • Support value engineering and long-term sourcing decisions tied to growth strategy • Act as a trusted partner to commercial, operations, finance, and technology leaders • Drive change in an environment with legacy processes and strong regional autonomy • Build, coach, and develop a high-caliber global team • Define and track KPIs tied to service, cost, cash, and resilience Skills • 10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience • Demonstrated ownership of S&OP / IBP implementation or major redesign • Senior-level experience across procurement, planning, logistics, and operations • Strong analytical and systems orientation (ERP, planning tools, advanced analytics) • Experience in complex, physical-product, project-influenced, or asset-heavy environments • USA-based, with comfort leading globally • Has led supply chain transformation, not just managed it • Is comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure from scratch • Can influence without authority across regions and cultures • Understands that planning, procurement, and execution are inseparable Company Overview • At Lean Six Search, we pride ourselves on being the best headhunters within the operational excellence, supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing space.
