About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and creative Social Media Manager & Video Editor to manage our social media presence and produce high-quality video content. This role is perfect for someone who understands content strategy, short-form video trends, and platform growth—and can take ideas from concept to publish.
You’ll be responsible for both content management and video editing, working closely with our team to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
What You’ll Do:
• Manage and schedule content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn)
• Edit short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) and occasional long-form content
• Repurpose existing content into platform-optimized formats
• Add captions, subtitles, graphics, and light motion elements
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity
• Track basic performance metrics and adjust content accordingly
• Stay current on platform trends, algorithms, and best practices
• Collaborate with internal team members on content planning and launches
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience managing social media accounts and editing video content
• Strong video editing skills (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar)
• Understanding of short-form video trends and audience engagement
• Strong attention to detail and storytelling ability
• Clear communication and ability to work independently
• U.S.-based contractor with availability during standard U.S. business hours
Nice to Have:
• Experience supporting personal brands, creators, or online businesses
• Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, etc.)
• Experience with content analytics and optimization
• Familiarity with tools like Asana, ClickUp, or Trello
Contract Status
This is a 1099 independent contractor role. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and equipment.
