$19.00 per hour (paid for all hours worked, including required training)
Position Summary
The Inbound Call Agent (Independent Contractor) supports a temporary inbound call project by answering incoming calls, collecting and documenting caller information accurately, and routing requests according to defined procedures. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and consistent availability during scheduled project hours. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to manage your work while adhering to the project’s performance standards.
Scope of Work / Key Responsibilities
• Answer inbound calls professionally, following provided scripts and call flows.
• Accurately capture caller details and the purpose of the call; document information in the required system(s).
• Provide basic assistance within scope; escalate or route calls/messages as instructed.
• Maintain documentation accuracy and quality standards throughout the project.
• Follow confidentiality and data-security requirements applicable to the project.
• Attend and complete required 3-day training starting January 12, 2026.
• Participate in coaching and quality reviews as required during the engagement.
• Maintain consistent attendance and schedule adherence (start times, end times, and breaks as communicated).
Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service and/or call center experience preferred.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to type and navigate multiple systems while speaking with callers.
• Detail-oriented with accurate documentation habits.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work the full project term.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior remote call center experience.
• Experience with CRM/call handling/documentation tools.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) (if applicable to project needs).
Contractor Requirements (1099)
• Must provide a completed W-9 prior to start.
• Responsible for all applicable taxes, insurance, and other obligations associated with independent contractor status.
• Must maintain a professional work environment suitable for handling inbound calls.
• As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for managing your own schedule and work environment.
Remote Work / Technical Requirements
• Quiet, distraction-free workspace.
• Reliable high-speed internet.
• Ability to use required equipment and systems (company-provided or contractor-provided—details to be specified internally).
Confidentiality
Contractor must maintain confidentiality of company and customer information and comply with all privacy/security requirements associated with the project.
