Flexible Writer/Journalist Position
We are seeking a versatile part-time (possible upgrade to full time later) writer/journalists to join our team.
(15 Hours/Week, fixed schedule! preferred mornings EST time zone, but willing to discuss, and potential upgrade to more hours in the fuutre)
We’re looking for a sharp, reliable writer to join our editorial team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on deadlines, enjoys working with news-driven content, and has an eye for clean, polished copy.
What You’ll Do
Write 3–5 short news articles daily (approx. 300 words each) based on trending stories provided.
You may occasionally conduct phone or Teams interviews with sources (optional)
Ensure all content meets professional standards and aligns with our voice and style.
Collaborate with senior editors while also bringing your own initiative to the table.
What We’re Looking For
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
Ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work on tight deadlines.
Familiarity with CMS platforms and AP style is a plus (training provided if needed).
Preferred morning availability (Eastern U.S. time).
