[Remote] Python Lead with Drools and AWS, Lambda

They are seeking an Experienced Python Developer to design and develop a Rule Engine for validating Medicaid eligibility requirements, focusing on backend development in Python and SQL using AWS Lambda. Responsibilities • Develop and maintain the backend of a full stack web application in Python , SQL using AWS Lambda Serverless Computing • Closely with teammates building the UI with React and using Python for the machine learning component • Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code while adhering to Client coding standards and best practices • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality and reliability • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues to ensure the application’s quality • Take end to end ownership of the technical solution Review and contribute to technical architecture with software & data architects to use the correct design patterns for the job and ensure the application is scalable and highly available • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development practices • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective • Identify and troubleshoot obstacles that are hindering the team’s progress • Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions • Communicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholders • Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time • Ensure that the team follows the Scrum framework and adheres to Agile principles Skills • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field • 10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Python technologies, including Web API • Solid understanding of SQL and database design and management • Familiarity with REST API fundamentals • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams • Good understanding of software development principles and design patterns • Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS • Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies • Extensive experience with AWS cloud • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and Python programming • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines Company Overview • Next-Gen Business Technology Platformization™, AI and Product Engineering Services.
