Position: PRN Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Healthcare (Pediatric Focus) PRN Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Healthcare (Pediatric Focus) Location: Savannah, GA Pay Rate: $45 - $50 per hour Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN home healthcare role in Savannah, GA . This position requires pediatric experience and the ability to provide high-quality, individualized care in a home setting . The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assessing, monitoring, and managing pediatric patients with medical complexities while supporting families and caregivers. Responsibilities • ✔ Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in a home healthcare setting. • ✔ Administer medications, injections, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed. • ✔ Monitor and assess vital signs, respiratory status, and overall health of the patient. • ✔ Perform and manage G-tube feedings, tracheostomy care, and ventilator support as needed. • ✔ Educate and guide families and caregivers on pediatric care, emergency response, and safety measures. • ✔ Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR). • ✔ Coordinate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. • ✔ Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards in a home setting. Qualifications • ✅ Active RN license in the state of Georgia. • ✅ Minimum of 1-2 years of pediatric nursing experience (home healthcare experience preferred). • ✅ Current BLS/CPR certification (PALS preferred). • ✅ Experience with tracheostomy care, ventilator management, seizure disorders, and G-tube feedings is a plus. • ✅ Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills . • ✅ Ability to work independently and adapt to different home environments . • ✅ Must have reliable transportation and be comfortable traveling within the Savannah, GA area.
