Key Responsibilities

• Model and convey a unique and outstanding client experience, ensuring that customers are greeted and assisted in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Register sales on assigned sales register, provide customers with considerate, fair, and efficient checkout service, and process voids, returns, and exchanges as needed.
• Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, including using pharmacy systems to acquire patient and medication information and process prescriptions.
• Engage with customers and patients, answering questions and resolving issues to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Model and offer customer service best practices with all colleagues, including relational habits and arenaflex service values.
• Perform various administrative tasks, including maintaining records, checking in and pricing stock, and performing inventory management activities.
• Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to arenaflex policies and procedures related to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program.
• Handle calls that do not require the personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians.
• Process manual claims for third-party program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Strong numerical skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing prescriptions.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification (or ability to obtain certification through the designated PTCB training program).

• At least six months of experience in a retail environment.
