Primary Responsibilities

The Entry Level Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Entering required grant data accurately into the designated system to meet monthly, quarterly, and year-end deadlines, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Maintaining appropriate records and following required procedures and practices for attendance and assessment data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and arenaflex's high standards.
  • Maintaining the required security of student data in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), reflecting arenaflex's commitment to protecting sensitive information.
  • Completing regular error checks and data clean-up to ensure accurate reporting, which is essential for evaluating program effectiveness and making data-driven decisions.
  • Ensuring data is accessible in a timely manner to staff and other stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and efficient operations across the organization.
  • Organizing and prioritizing tasks to meet all local, state, and program deadlines, demonstrating excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Monitoring and evaluating student outcomes, including pre/post testing with state-mandated assessments, to assess program impact and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices, enhance skills, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning at arenaflex.
  • Scanning documents, labeling items, inventorying supplies, performing basic word processing, organizing digital files and materials, preparing mailings, and assisting with filing, as needed, to support the administrative functions of the team.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A High School diploma or GED, demonstrating a foundation in basic education and a commitment to personal development.
  • Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures, including proficiency in MS Office Software, particularly Excel, which is crucial for data management and analysis at arenaflex.
  • The ability to perform office work quickly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy, plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively, communicate effectively, work cooperatively with others, and work under pressure with frequent interruptions, reflecting a high level of professionalism and adaptability.
