**Experienced Full Stack Data Scientist – Machine Learning and Predictive Modeling for arenaflex's Last Mile Group**

As a data scientist at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that impact millions of customers worldwide. **Job Responsibilities** As a Full Stack Data Scientist, you'll be responsible for building and deploying machine learning models that enhance the performance of our Last Mile group. Your primary duties will include: * Building machine learning models using parametric and non-parametric distributions to optimize the performance of our driver abuse and driver seek algorithms * Driving weekly reputation updates and handling ad-hoc requests or queries related to driver abuse version and escalations from business stakeholders * Incorporating missing PO in driver abuse version and implementing modifications to the version as required * Optimizing and developing driver abuse models used by the Trust & Safety group to flag drivers and take critical actions based on the output of the model * Automating the driver abuse pipeline for daily and hourly reviews by adding additive models * Building new store release demand prediction pipeline using ensemble strategies, time series forecasting, and regression algorithms to predict order quantity in real-time and estimate driver delivery needed to satisfy the demand * Running and maintaining hourly driver abuse version, running and maintaining Daily Model, and maintaining and updating driver abuse dashboards * Creating powerful reporting and dashboards using data visualization techniques (e.g., Python libraries, GGplot, Matplotlib, Plotly, and Tableau) to generate suitable graphical representations of data and model outcomes * Supporting client requirements and designing data representations for complex data * Developing end-to-end predictive models for product improvements and optimization of existing features * Applying best practices for model optimization, testing, and tuning using Chi-squared, ROC curve, and root mean squared error to evaluate accuracy, fit, validity, and robustness of multi-level models and model ensembles * Performing extensive data and statistical analysis by extracting relevant data using coding tools such as Python, Pandas, and SQL from various data resources and data mining strategies to recognize underlying distributions (including left skewed, right skewed, normal distributions, CLTs, Standard deviations, and significant tendency) and patterns in data **Minimum Qualifications and Experience** To be considered for this role, you'll need: * A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field * At least 2 years of experience in an analytics or related field * Experience with model building and optimization * Experience with machine learning and deep learning algorithms * Experience with predictive, statistical, and analytical modeling and exploratory data analysis techniques and strategies * Experience with parametric and non-parametric distributions to enhance the overall performance of models * Experience with model evaluation and validation, model fit, and testing, tuning, and validation strategies * Experience with the effect of variables and features on model performance * Experience growing powerful reporting and dashboards using data visualization including Python libraries, GGplot, Matplotlib, and Tableau to generate suitable graphical representations of data and model outcomes * Experience with data source identification and data set creation * Experience with functional business area and scenarios * Experience applying database technology for data extraction, data manipulation, and data pre-processing using SQL * Experience with code development and testing * Experience with coding languages such as SQL, Python, and Pandas * Experience learning underlying traits and data distributions to discover user pain points and recommend upgrades to product teams * Experience participating with team members to facilitate communications across different aspects of the wider team * Experience with Git and Github **Flexible, Hybrid Work** We use a hybrid approach to working that is primarily in-office coupled with virtual when not on-site.
