Staff Nurse (RN or LPN) -Nursing Home
Located in Queens, NY
Salary: $35/HR - $50/HR Range (Depending on Licensure)
Qualifications of Staff Nurses-Nursing Home:
• Must have New York nursing licensure (RN or LPN)
• Must have assisted living/skilled nursing experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
Requirements of Staff Nurses-Nursing Home:
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Consult with doctors and other healthcare professionals to decide on the best treatment plans.
• Be in strong physical condition, as they may often stand or move around throughout their shifts.
• Ability to work as a team member with the nurses and nurse aides. Understanding of the behavior and needs of elderly people. Ability to communicate effectively to the residents, families, visitors and staff. Accuracy in documentation is essential.
• Follow extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment.
