About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Sneaker Authenticator to join our team in Ohio, USA. As a Sneaker Authenticator, you will be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest footwear business trends, sneaker releases, and collaborations with all retailers, from streetwear to high fashion. You will ensure that every sneaker is verified, spot manufacturer defects, evaluate wear, and investigate SKU and size to guarantee that every buyer receives the best possible experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess preloved and new items from significant fashion brands to guarantee their authenticity
• Conduct an examination to affirm the item's description and condition are consistent
• Report counterfeit items with concise and explicit findings
• Remain knowledgeable on current brand trends and developments
• Be comfortable in a fast-paced office environment
• Achieve quality metrics and productivity goals daily
• Proactively communicate with managers about daily activities and obstacles
• Willingness to work in a warehouse environment

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Experience in a related field required
• A strong passion for sneakers and a deep understanding of the class
• Scientific and critical thinking skills with the ability to research and address concerns
• Solid attention to detail and precision
• Flexibility to adapt to changing workflows and responsibilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently
• Capacity to work on your feet for several hours and lift 15kg on an occasional basis
