DS Technologies Inc is looking for US Application Architect – Microservices (AWS) role for one of our premier clients. Job Title: US Application Architect – Microservices (AWS) Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid) / Remote also considered Position Type: Contract Only W2 Position Summary: We are seeking an Application Architect with strong microservices architecture experience and deep expertise in AWS cloud services. This role will focus on designing, building, and guiding scalable cloud-native solutions, enabling modern data processing workflows, and supporting best practices across CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code. Key Responsibilities: • Architect and design microservices-based applications on AWS • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure application architecture • Lead cloud solution design using AWS services and modern development patterns • Support implementation of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation • Drive Infrastructure as Code adoption using Cloud Formation and/or Terraform • Collaborate with engineering and stakeholder teams with strong communication and problem-solving skills Required Qualifications: • 7+7+ years of software development experience, including microservices architecture • At least 3+3+ years of AWS cloud architecture experience • Strong proficiency in AWS services including: S3, Lambda, Step Functions, Aurora DB, Redis, Redshift • Strong JavaScript experience • Experience with Databricks for big data processing and analytics • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills Nice to Have: • Knowledge of Apache Spark, Splunk, and modern data frameworks • Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Conducktor • AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, etc.) or equivalent hands-on experience Flexible work from home options available. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
