Job Description:
• Responsible for assignment of ICD, CPT, and HCPCS codes for patient types
• Abstracts all pertinent information into the abstract
• Monitors Timely Filing and Unbilled reports for timely coding
Requirements:
• Associate’s degree in Health Information Technology
• RHIT, CCS, or CPC certification
• Maintains 95% coding accuracy
• Maintains coding productivity greater than 80% of the time
