About the Office of Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance (OSGLI) Customer Service Center

The OSGLI Customer Service Center is a critical component of arenaflex's operations, providing essential support to servicemembers, veterans, and their families. As a Customer Service Representative in this center, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service, answering customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. With a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, you will be the face of arenaflex, providing personalized support and guidance to those who need it most.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and timely information to policyholders, parents, spouses, and beneficiaries regarding benefit coverage, policy details, and other related inquiries
  • Receive, evaluate, and respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or mail, using computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting
  • Assess customer needs and suggest alternative products or services to meet their requirements
  • Handle customer complaints and issues in a professional and empathetic manner, escalating complex cases to senior representatives or management as needed
  • Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with customers, ensuring a positive experience and promoting arenaflex's products and services
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, using computerized systems to update policy information, track customer inquiries, and document resolutions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriting, claims, and policy administration teams, to resolve customer issues and provide seamless support

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-3 years of directly related customer service experience, preferably in an insurance or financial services environment
  • A college degree or equivalent business/military experience, with a strong focus on customer service, communication, and problem-solving
