Ocean Tomo's Financial Expert professionals have industry leading experience across all types of disputes. We are skilled in the determination of intellectual property damages including calculations of lost profits, price erosion, unjust enrichment, and reasonable royalty. As a Director, you will focus on the daily management of these engagements; including meeting with clients and/or counsel to collect information for the creation of reports and financial analyses/models, analyzing and critiquing opposing parties' claims, management of staff and working closely with the Managing Directors of the firm. Responsibilities • Managing complex assignments from concept through delivery • Assisting with practice development efforts of the Managing Directors • Identifying and converting new business opportunities • Writing reports, presentations and other materials • Daily management of engagements including meetings with clients and counsel • Critiquing opposing parties' claims • Managing analysts and associates working on the engagement • Leading market, industry, company, technology and royalty rate research performed by Associates and Analysts • Directing staff efforts in preparing models, reports and other activities • Training staff on technical concepts Requirements • Bachelors or Masters concentrating in finance, accounting, business or economics from a highly regarded program • 7 plus years of litigation consulting or intellectual property valuation experience • Willingness to be "hands-on" manager with full responsibility for delivering high quality work product • Established reputation for high-level of professional expertise • Distinguished academic achievement • Attention to detail and quality control • Solid analytical skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment are essential • High degree of professionalism, integrity and flexibility • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Great attitude and client presence Nice-to-haves • CPA/CFA preferred Benefits • Hybrid work environment • Incentive equity program • Annual bonus plan • Full reimbursement for industry exams and review courses (CPA, CFA, etc.) • Partial tuition reimbursement • Unlimited paid time off and paid holidays Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
