Job Overview

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work as a Data Scientist and Analyst, providing quantitative analysis, market expertise, and a unique perspective to our partners across the organization. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct data analysis to make business or product recommendations (i.e., cost-benefit analysis, return on investment, forecasting, influence analysis)
  • Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to various levels of stakeholders, creating visual representations of quantitative data
  • Develop and automate reports, iteratively build and model dashboards to provide insights at scale, solving for analytical requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand their business needs, identify and complete analysis that incorporates data collection, analysis, real-time forecasting, and presentations
  • Help arenaflex focus on key decisions to improve products and services

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Information Sciences, etc.)
  • Experience working with statistical packages (e.g., R, SAS, Stata, MATLAB, etc.)
  • Experience articulating product questions, pulling data from datasets (SQL), and using statistics to arrive at a conclusion

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have:

  • Currently pursuing a graduate degree in a quantitative field in the US and available to work full-time for several months beyond academic term time
  • In their penultimate academic year or returning to a graduate program after completion of an internship
  • Ability to translate analysis results into business recommendations
  • Interest and ability to work with data, statistics, analysis, and trends, and applied knowledge of estimation, statistics, and program evaluation
  • Excellent problem-solving and written/verbal communication skills, with outstanding business judgment
