Science Editor
Bio-Rad Laboratories is seeking a Science Editor to join its global Brand and Marketing Communications Department. The role involves ensuring the quality and consistency of written materials for a global customer base while providing feedback and maximizing clarity in technical and marketing communications.
Responsibilities
- Drive adherence to brand standards and style
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of product information and scientific claims
- Provide tactful, thoughtful feedback and queries to stakeholders and team members
- Maximize clarity in diverse technical and marketing communications
- Work with stakeholders and cross-functional team members to produce and update collateral pieces
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in English, Communications, or the Life Sciences
- 0–2 years experience as an editor in science, healthcare, or technology marketing
- Strong command of English language and basic life science principles
- An eye for details and a drive for excellence
- Experience working with an editorial style guide (internal or external)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
- Knowledge of the life or biomedical sciences
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Workfront
