Responsibilities
- Answer over 80 inbound calls daily from patients, doctor's offices, and insurance carriers
- Initiate payment plans for patients with outstanding balances
- Utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries during calls
- Maintain performance goals and productivity standards
- Become proficient in processes after completing a structured training program
Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1+ year of work experience in customer service or related fields
- Experience handling high volume calls while managing multiple computer applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent organization skills
- Previous experience in medical billing, insurance claims, or call center environments strongly preferred
- Experience communicating with patients regarding medical information
- Familiarity with alpha-numeric data entry
- Proven track record of successful teamwork in previous roles
- Previous work in a structured environment with defined breaks
