IT Technical PMO

ALTEN Technology USA is an engineering company that partners with leading firms across various industries. The IT Technical PMO role involves supporting PMO activities for IT/ERP transformations, coordinating planning and communication among stakeholders, and tracking project progress and risks.

Responsibilities

• Support PMO activities for SAFe Release Trains within a large IT / ERP transformation
• Coordinate PI planning, sprint ceremonies, and cross-team dependencies across technical workstreams
• Track delivery progress, risks, issues, and dependencies for software and SAP teams
• Ensure alignment of approximately 40 technical and business stakeholders across the U.S. and Canada
• Facilitate communication between developers, SAP functional teams, system integrators, and business leads
• Maintain program documentation, schedules, RAID logs, and reporting dashboards
• Support governance and leadership reporting for the ERP migration program

Skills

• Hands-on background in software development or enterprise applications, gained through prior role as a software engineer, SAP consultant, technical analyst, or formal education in computer science, software engineering, or information systems
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile / SAFe) and enterprise IT environments
• A project management certification is preferred (CAPM, PMP, PMI-ACP, or SAFe certification)
