[Remote] AI Designer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Warp is a technology powered middle mile network focused on modernizing freight logistics. They are seeking an AI Designer to create practical AI tools that enhance decision-making within their operating workflows, collaborating closely with various teams to address real-world logistics challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI powered internal tools that support routing, planning, exception handling, forecasting, and network optimization
• Translate complex logistics workflows into simple, intuitive AI driven interfaces that operators and customers can trust
• Use tools like Augment, Supabase, and modern AI frameworks to prototype, test, and deploy solutions rapidly
• Collaborate directly with operations teams to understand real constraints, edge cases, and failure modes, then design AI systems that work under pressure
• Design clean data schemas and workflows that allow AI systems to reason over shipments, lanes, facilities, and events in real time
• Continuously refine tools based on real usage, performance metrics, and operator feedback
• Act as the connective tissue between product vision, AI capability, and practical engineering execution that you can handle yourself with AI

Skills

• At least 1 year of experience designing and building AI powered tools, internal platforms, or data driven products
• Hands on experience with tools like Augment, Supabase, modern LLM APIs, or similar AI and backend platforms
• Strong product and design intuition with the ability to simplify complex workflows
• Comfort working with real world data that is incomplete, noisy, and constantly changing
• Ability to think in systems, not just screens or models
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering and operations teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Interest in logistics, supply chains, or real world infrastructure problems is a strong plus
