Research Engineering/Scientist Assistant, Li lab, College of Pharmacy
The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Research Engineering/Scientist Assistant for the Li lab in the College of Pharmacy. This role involves assisting with natural products discovery and biological evaluations for drug discovery, as well as manuscript preparation for scientific publication.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lab with natural products discovery and biological evaluations for drug discovery
- Assist with manuscript preparation for scientific publication
- Additional duties as assigned
Skills
- B.S. or senior undergraduates with background in pharmaceutical sciences, biology, biochemistry, or chemistry
- Experience in analyzing research data
- Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate
- Strong verbal and writing communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to assist with scientific research and manuscript preparation
