Business Development Rep
Surface Experts is an all-inclusive surface repair service provider, and they are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative. The role involves connecting with property managers, assessing opportunities, and educating them on services while managing a flexible sales route.
Responsibilities
- You will choose your sales route with an average of 15 appointments per day (all leads are provided)
- During each appointment with the apartment complex property manager, you will
- Build rapport with the property manager
- Walk through a unit to assess opportunities
- Educate on our services and book repairs
- Review sales routes, prepare calls, and perform minimal administrative tasks
Skills
- Strong rapport skills and persistence
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Smart Phone
- Valid driver's license, clean record, and reliable transportation
- Sales experience is preferred
- Goal-oriented, self-starter who is coachable and eager to learn
- Enjoys connecting with people and working in a team environment
- Preference for candidates with property or facilities management backgrounds
- No prior sales experience required, we provide all training; however previous sales experience is a plus
- Professional, caring, and service-minded
- Ready to thrive in a metrics-based, process-driven sales system
- Strong communication skills — bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
