Squire Patton Boggs is a global law firm seeking a Litigation Associate to support their automotive consumer litigation practice. The role involves managing various aspects of litigation, including drafting motions, conducting research, and assisting with trial preparations.
Responsibilities
- Handling most aspects of litigation
- Managing discovery requests and responses
- Drafting and arguing motions
- Conducting research
- Drafting memoranda and correspondence
- Attending hearings and court conferences
- Taking and defending depositions
- Assisting with trial preparations and trial
Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of general litigation experience
- Must be admitted to the California Bar
- Superior research and analytical abilities
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Products liability and/or consumer law background a plus
