[Remote] Participant Services Agent (11:30am-8pm EST) - Philadelphia & Tampa
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. RemoteHunter is a leading provider of independent, conflict-free retirement solutions. They are seeking a Participant Services Agent to administer and maintain client accounts in a high-volume call center, support operations, and resolve client issues while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities
- Review, update, maintain, and service client and plan accounts to meet industry policies and regulations
- Answer incoming operational center calls regarding client account and compliance questions
- Scrutinize information contained in all types of plan agreements
- Maintain accurate records and notes to ensure plan requests are completed within regulated timeframes
- Provide support and direction on operational processes, policies, and timeframes
- Assist management in identifying and updating ineffective procedures and policies
- Contribute to department productivity through unit meetings and ongoing training
- Maintain and file weekly departmental statistical reports
- Perform general clerical activities including faxing, copying, and filing
- Support other areas of the department when needed due to high volume or low staffing
- Perform other assigned duties
Skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Understanding of operations functions and industry rules and regulations for all plan/product types
- Organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
- Reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with standard office equipment and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
- Professional communication skills for interactions at all management levels
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure from deadlines and changing workflow volume
- Ability to learn and understand legal documents and various regulations
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and skills
- Ability to read and interpret financial statements
- Efficient and flexible in detailed tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Accurate data entry, 10-key by touch, and minimum 30 WPM typing speed
- Strong customer service skills
- Reliable in-home WiFi with a minimum internet speed of 50 MBps for individual use
