Strategy and Operations Entry Level Consultant - Summer 2026
Impact Advisors, LLC is a nationally recognized healthcare management consulting firm delivering advisory, implementation, and optimization services. The Strategy & Operations Consultant will support healthcare organizations through process improvement and technology-driven initiatives, contributing to client success and positive patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to support healthcare leaders, clinicians, and staff in identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, financial performance, and patient outcomes
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including data analysis, benchmarking, and industry research, to inform client recommendations
- Support the development of client-facing deliverables such as presentations, reports, dashboards, and process documentation
- Engage with healthcare and consulting professionals at all levels through interviews, workshops, and meetings to gather insights and validate solutions
- Assist in project management activities such as developing workplans, tracking milestones, and preparing status updates for clients and internal leadership
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of firm methodologies, tools, and knowledge capital by capturing lessons learned and standardizing best practices
- Participate in internal initiatives including business development support, thought leadership development, and practice growth efforts
- Demonstrate commitment to personal and professional growth by seeking feedback, leveraging coaching relationships, and pursuing professional development opportunities
Skills
- Anticipated Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred majors: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health, General Business). Graduation date: May 2026
- Previous experience working or volunteering in a healthcare setting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure and break down complex issues
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely
- Collaborative team player who thrives in fast-paced, client-facing environments. Adaptable and flexible in managing multiple priorities and shifting client needs
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical tools to support data-driven decision making
- Ability to conduct research, synthesize information, and generate insights to support strategy development
- Professional presence with strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and credibility with clients
- Self-starter who demonstrates initiative, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning
- Focused on delivering client value, with a high standard of integrity and commitment to doing the right thing
- Travel: Up to 80% nationwide travel required
- Work Schedule: Full time, August 2026 start
- Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the US, visa sponsorship not supported
- Location: Based in or willing to relocate to the Chicago area
