Outside Sales Representative
Sun Protection of Florida is a leader in retractable awnings and motorized sun shades, part of the Hunter Douglas family. The Outside Sales Representative will engage with customers to enhance their outdoor living spaces through scheduled sales appointments, supported by a dedicated team to ensure success.
Responsibilities
- Drive your personal vehicle and crush 2-5 pre-scheduled sales appointments per day in your territory, obtained through aggressive company marketing efforts
- Occasionally venture beyond your territory to lend a hand to another area in need
- Generate substantial sales revenue by sealing the deal on pre-scheduled appointments within your territory
- Meet monthly sales goals set by your sales management
- Expand your territory beyond company-acquired appointments by fostering referrals, cultivating a network of influence, and building relationships with builders, contractors, and other key industry players
- Follow up diligently with customers who have received quotes
- Collaborate with the inside sales team to help close deals with previously quoted customers you've identified as potential opportunities
- Assist the install coordination team in meticulously planning the technical aspects of each installation
- Maintain continuous communication with customers throughout the entire process to ensure a seamless and successful installation
- Stay up to date with the progress of all post-sale tasks in our state-of-the-art CRM system, ensuring a streamlined pipeline leading to efficient installations
- Respond promptly to all emails, phone calls, and texts from coworkers and customers

- Must be available for communication during evenings and weekends

- Availability to work 5 days a week, including one weekend day
- Can lift and carry up to 40lbs
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- 1-3 years of in-home sales experience
- Experience in home improvement sales
