Hospice Account Executive
Amedisys is a nationally recognized leader in home health and hospice care, and they are seeking a Hospice Account Executive to own and grow the Northern Miami-Dade County market. The role involves building relationships with key referral sources, educating healthcare professionals and families on hospice services, and driving admissions by coordinating documentation and referrals.
Responsibilities
- Build and strengthen relationships with key referral sources—hospitals, nursing homes, physician offices, and more
- Educate healthcare professionals, families, and patients on hospice services
- Drive admissions by identifying patient needs and coordinating documentation and referrals
- Conduct on‑site visits and remove barriers to care
- Maintain accurate CRM records, including daily sales activity and territory management
- Meet and exceed admissions, product, and payor‑mix goals
- Represent Amedisys at community events and respond quickly to customer needs
Skills
- 1+ year of healthcare sales experience (pharma, medical devices, home health, hospice, long‑term care, or related outreach/business development)
- Proven success in cold calling and lead generation
- Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills
- Independent, self‑motivated, target‑driven mindset
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and insurance
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
