Quality Control Coordinator

Paula’s Choice Skincare is a global skincare leader founded in 1995, dedicated to empowering individuals through science-backed products. The Quality Control Coordinator will support quality control objectives, work with internal teams and external partners, and resolve quality issues to ensure high standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of Value Added Services (VAS) work and review all components for accuracy and functionality to ensuring that only high-quality products proceed through the supply chain
• Review and disposition bulk and finished goods ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements
• Oversee quality inspections and documentation review for Amazon orders to maintain marketplace compliance and meet strict retailer standards
• Review and inspect samples to validate product quality before mass production, minimizing the risk of widespread defects
• Process and manage retention samples ensuring that goods are available for future quality investigations or regulatory inquiries
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with suppliers and contract manufacturers in order to resolve quality concerns promptly and maintain strong business relationships
• Other responsibilities as assigned by your manager

Skills

• Associate degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field or equivalent Quality Control experience
• Extremely detail oriented and self-motivated
• Previous inspection experience
• Strong independent worker
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field
• Basic laboratory skills or general science knowledge
• Previous experience with Good Manufacturing Practices
• Experience with SmartSheets
