About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Advanced Care Team (ACT) in Knoxville, TN. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and are looking to grow their career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Customer Service Representative II, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls, identifying the reason for the call, and providing solutions to customers' inquiries. You will be an integral part of our retention team, working to pro-actively retain customers through active listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls from customers and/or employees, providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Enhance the customer experience through excellent communication, identifying the reason for the call, and providing solutions to customers' inquiries
  • Assist customers with understanding and resolving billing issues, troubleshooting products and services, and transferring calls to the appropriate department as necessary
  • Schedule appointments, reschedule service or installation appointments, and perform other duties as assigned
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales and retention goals, providing feedback and coaching to improve results and earnings

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with some college preferred
  • 1 year of experience in customer service, with sales and retention experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer proficiency, with experience working with multiple screens and programs
  • Ability to work varied hours, including weekends, and adapt to changing business needs

Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:

  • Experience working in a contact center environment, with a focus on sales and retention
  • Technical aptitude, with experience working with software applications and troubleshooting technical issues
  • Ability to think on your feet, with excellent verbal customer service skills and a positive, professional attitude
  • Experience working in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and achieving sales and retention goals
