ServiceNow IT Asset Management (HAM/SAM) Analyst Remote, with occasional on-site presence required Duration: 12+ Months (Extension Possible) Any visa is fine & jr role Note:- Candidates must be located within 1 hour driving distance of Salisbury, NC Acceptable locations: Charlotte, NC or Greensboro / Winston-Salem, NC area Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) Analyst with strong experience in Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM). The ideal candidate will support enterprise IT asset operations by maintaining accurate asset data, improving CMDB integrity, and driving compliance through effective lifecycle and process management using the ServiceNow platform. Key Responsibilities Asset Lifecycle Management Track and manage the full lifecycle of IT hardware assets (laptops, desktops, servers, peripherals) from procurement through disposal Ensure accurate asset status, ownership, and lifecycle stage tracking ServiceNow ITAM & CMDB Management Maintain and update asset records within ServiceNow ITAM modules (HAM/SAM) Perform data cleanup, normalization, and bulk updates Support CMDB accuracy and integrity, ensuring alignment with asset data Inventory & Audit Management Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of physical and digital inventories Resolve discrepancies between inventory records and ServiceNow data Procurement & Vendor Support Assist with hardware procurement processes, including order tracking, vendor coordination, and receiving documentation Support asset onboarding and tagging processes Compliance, Reporting & Dashboards Generate reports and dashboards related to asset utilization, compliance, and performance Support internal and external audits related to asset governance Documentation & Process Improvement Create and maintain process documentation, policies, SOPs, and user guides Identify opportunities to improve asset management workflows and controls Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication Partner with IT Support, Procurement, Finance, and Security teams Lead meetings and presentations with internal stakeholders Clearly communicate asset status, risks, and recommendations Required Qualifications:- 3+ years of experience in: IT Asset Management (ITAM) Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Software Asset Management (SAM) Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM and CMDB Proven experience with data cleanup and bulk updates in ServiceNow Experience creating process, policy, and procedural documentation • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills Best Regards, Rajesh(Ken) Cymansys Solutions LLC Email: ken@cymansys.com Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
