Financial Analyst-Remote
About the position
This is a remote Financial Analyst role specifically for candidates located in Phoenix, Arizona. The position involves generating reports from a financial database and utilizing Microsoft Excel for further analysis. The analyst will aid in capital budgeting and expenditure planning processes, prepare and analyze budget variance reports, and work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting. Additionally, the role includes preparing financial performance data for regulatory agencies, developing improved automated reporting methods, and providing ad-hoc projects and analysis.
Responsibilities
• Generate reports from financial database and use Microsoft Excel for further analysis
• Aid in the capital budgeting and expenditure planning processes
• Prepare and analyze budget variance reports
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Prepare financial performance data for regulatory agencies

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 1 plus years experience in Financial Analysis and/or Audit
• Strong excel background
