Operations Supervisor

Leavitt Machinery is one of the fastest growing material handling equipment dealerships in North America, seeking a dedicated Operations Supervisor to join their team. The Operations Supervisor will oversee daily activities within the Operator Training Department, ensuring workflows align with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the responsibilities of the operations team
• Supervising, training, and evaluating the performance of assigned employees
• Assisting with hiring admin team members
• Designing and implementing departmental policies, procedures, and objectives
• Evaluating and reporting on department metrics, and developing strategies to improve department performance
• Adhering to and executing departmental budgets
• Overseeing inventory needs and administration
• Supporting continuous improvement projects
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations

Skills

• 1-2 years of related operations work experience
• A post-secondary education in business, operations management, or a related field
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite
• Outstanding organizational skills and coordination abilities
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
