The role involves overseeing trade compliance for the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, collaborating with legal teams, and optimizing logistics flows. Responsibilities • Research and interpret international trade regulations to ensure compliance • Manage global labeling standards and develop solution plans for logistics flows • Oversee HTS classification for imported goods and ensure accuracy in shipping processes • Collaborate with legal teams to navigate complex compliance issues and mitigate liability • Support global shipping operations and process flows for efficiency and compliance • Work autonomously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail Skills • Trade compliance experience within a manufacturing company • Strong knowledge of shipping processes and flows • Expertise in international regulations and compliance standards • HTS Classification experience (The Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the U.S.) - candidates will complete an HTS test • Ability to work independently, demonstrate stability, and adapt to a global role with flexible hours • English fluency required • Spanish helpful • Must be comfortable operating in nuanced areas of compliance while minimizing risk • Remote role with preference for candidates in Pacific Time Zones Benefits • Health insurance • Retirement plans • Opportunities for professional development Company Overview • Adams & Martin Group is a staffing and recruiting company that provides legal staffing solutions.
