Estimator - project based

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase by accurately estimating project costs and ensuring that projects are completed within budget. This position requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. This job is fully remote and project based. Whenever company has projects the work will be assigned and paid according to the task. there's no full time opportunity in nearby future or promises like that. basically its a part time or freelancing work. we do not require non-compete agreements. candidate can be working for others in same kind of business. Expertise in Bluebeam is required experience in exteriors, commercial buildings required. serious enquiries can reach out at rahul@amigo-construction.com Responsibilities • Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment. • Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for estimating purposes. • Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid for efficient project estimation and documentation. • Prepare detailed bid proposals • Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to each project. • Assess the drawings and provide information about material required in accurate quantity. • mainly responsibility will be doing the take off/ detailing once he/she has the drawings. Skills • Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and practices. • Proficiency in using estimating software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid. • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Familiarity with contract negotiation processes and construction management techniques. • Ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols. • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate pricing assessments. • Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members, clients, and vendors.
