Job Description
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure Application Architect with 13 years in application development and modernization. The role focuses on migrating and hosting applications on Azure PaaS, optimizing performance, and leading a small team (5 members).
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and host web applications on Azure PaaS (App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, ACI)
• Analyze application architecture, dependencies, and integrations
• Containerize applications and deploy on Kubernetes
• Assess application performance before and after migration
• Design Azure Landing Zones and target architecture
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Data, DevOps, and Integration teams
• Work with stakeholders and PMs for migration planning
Required Skills
• Hands-on web application development
• Azure PaaS hosting and migration experience
• Containerization and Kubernetes deployment
• Application performance optimization
• Team leadership and mentoring (5 members)
