Software Designer Co-op/Intern
Nokia is a global technology company, and they are seeking a Software Designer Co-op/Intern. In this role, you will collaborate with software designers and testers to develop and test product features while enhancing automated test suites.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software designers and testers to refine requirements, develop, and test product features
- Investigate and fix product defects
- Enhance automated test suites
Skills
- Currently a 2nd year+ candidate for a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science with an accredited school in Canada
- A strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and SQL
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, React, or Go
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work through technical challenges
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience using development tools like Git, IDEs, Jira, and Teams
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Networking and telecommunications knowledge
