[Remote] Healthcare Operations Intern

The Healthcare Operations Intern will collaborate with engineering, product, and customer teams to streamline critical healthcare workflows and gain valuable experience in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Document and analyze healthcare workflows (e.g., prior authorizations, appeals) to identify pain points and opportunities for automation
- Support conversations with healthcare providers, payors, and partners to gather feedback and understand operational needs
- Assist in structuring and organizing clinical and administrative datasets for workflow automation
- Work with engineers and product managers to design and test tools that integrate seamlessly into healthcare operations
- Contribute to planning, tracking, and delivering projects that improve healthcare operations
Skills
- Strong interest in healthcare, operations, and technology
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a cross-functional team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical mindset; comfortable with data analysis and process documentation
- Previous exposure to healthcare operations, consulting, or startups (preferred but not required)
