Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Call Center Customer Service Representative to join our team as a First Notice of Loss (FNOL) Specialist. As an FNOL Representative, you will play a critical role in providing quality inbound communication services, recording First Notice of Loss (FNOL) claims, and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service. Key Responsibilities

  • Accept inbound calls from engineers, technicians, and other field operators reporting FNOL, providing timely and effective support.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, entering data accurately into our customized database to ensure seamless claim processing.
  • Report underground damage to locate companies when applicable, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide outstanding service to customer representatives, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Analyze photos and map the correct location, utilizing your analytical skills to determine damage and ensure accurate claim assessment.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential skills and qualifications:

  • Ability to type a minimum of 55 words per minute, error-free, with a typing test required as part of the hiring process.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PDFs, and internet searches, with the ability to quickly learn our customized database.
  • Advanced phone and verbal communication skills, with excellent active listening and written communication skills.
  • Excellent reading skills, with the ability to read and follow a script, and analyze and interpret photos to determine damage.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with 6 months to 1 year of previous customer service call center experience required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams is a plus, and the ability to establish an appropriate work environment within your home for work purposes is essential.
