Field Marketing & Event Team Lead

Fresh Prep is Canada’s most convenient and sustainable meal kit delivery service. The Field Marketing and Event Team Lead is responsible for building corporate and community relationships to drive customer acquisitions and revenue, while organizing and executing in-person and virtual events to ensure business growth.


Responsibilities

  • Proactively seek and organize new in-market events with teams of field ambassadors to drive sales and customer acquisition in areas we deliver to in QC with a major focus of Montreal
  • Manage purchasing of event collateral, equipment, and booth space
  • Be the go-to person for events from set up to execution to teardown
  • Work with Senior Manager of Business Development to plan out the 2026/2027 event calendar and collaborate on new and existing opportunities
  • Seek, hire, and train a team of brand ambassadors
  • Actively coach, lead, and manage the team for reliability and best-in-class execution
  • Manage the brand ambassador schedule and ensure all events are properly staffed
  • Assist with brand ambassador hourly monitoring and reporting, training materials and payroll
  • Work with our Senior Manager of Business Development to form strategic partnerships with like-minded organizations, for longstanding, mutual benefits
  • Create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner outreach and relationship management
  • Research, identify and source partnerships to ensure continual opportunities for business growth by introducing Fresh Prep to their audiences
  • Use tools such as Linkedin, SeamlessAI and Hubspot to actively seek new opportunities to promote Fresh Prep
  • Works cross functionally to turn opportunities into sales and sign ups to hit targets
  • Meet or exceed agreed sales and acquisition targets through negotiating and closing business deals
  • Stay up-to-date on Fresh Prep’s product and service offerings
  • Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
  • Track and record activity on accounts and ensuring that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s sales management system
  • Handle client objections by clarifying information, emphasizing benefits, and working through differences to a positive conclusion

Skills

  • 1+ years' experience in event planning and sales. Brand Ambassador sales experience a bonus
  • 1+ years managing growth projects involving internal and external stakeholders
  • 1+ years of B2B networking experience
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Class 5 Drivers License Required with access to a vehicle
  • Ability to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends to achieve KPIs
  • Deep understanding of the business landscape, and can leverage your connections to open up new growth opportunities
  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in business, marketing, economics, or a related field
  • Excellent organizational, strategic, planning, and implementation skills
  • Ability to create realistic schedules and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability
  • Ability to respond appropriately in high-pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanor
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
  • Comfort with Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Chat etc.) and other office software
