Coordinator, Supply Operations
Coach is a global fashion house founded in New York in 1941. They are seeking a Coordinator for Supply Operations to monitor finished goods delivery and manage information flow to various teams, ensuring timely receipt and addressing delivery challenges.
Responsibilities
- Monitor finished goods delivery into the distribution centers to ensure timely receipt
- This includes expediting shipments with service providers and partnering with freight forwarder and distribution receiving to set shipment priorities
- Manage the information flow to Buyers/Allocations & Global Merchandising
- Partner with cross functional teams to issue out licensing POs within SAP system & monitor deliveries
- Analyze PO’s to ensure on time receipt within KS DC’s
- Ensure orders are placed timely that supports production lead times
- Support running weekly reporting files needed for BU’s and logistics team partners
- Work in conjunction with the PD teams & Brand Ops teams to track and ensure finish good deliveries are on schedule to meet company demands
- Review and address delivery challenges that may consist of capacity constraints, raw material delays, late development issues and production issues from Service providers
- Review pertinent details/feedback with Manager in an effort to gain resolution on delays that impact on-time delivery
- Execute ship mode changes to support Business channel floor set dates based on Leadership approval
- Strive to maintain a high delivery fill rate to meet key product launch timelines
- Review and execute Product change request, additions, cancellations, style/color changes
- Support special projects and key collaboration initiatives
- Manage the information flow between Production and the Distribution channels
- Keep the Distribution channels informed on product availability and production issues
- Review and execute daily inquiries from Business Partners i.e. product availability and opportunities to expedite production
- Determine Inventory allocation for the distribution channels that is aligned with business objectives
- Ability to perform efficiently in a high pressure and fast-paced environment
- Should easily adapt to the inventory planning tool used at Tapestry
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field and/or 1+ year(s) of experience with a comprehensive understanding of Supply Chain Management and Production Planning
- An equivalent combination of work experience and education will be considered
- Intermediate or advanced level of Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to perform efficiently in a high pressure and fast-paced environment
- Should easily adapt to the inventory planning tool used at Tapestry
- Knowledge of, SAP, ecVision, JDA Planning System & Microstrategy is preferred
