Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Director of Risk Management and Business Strategy to join our team at arenaflex. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends and insights, and developing strategic recommendations to drive business growth and improve risk management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including technology and business groups, to implement risk management approaches and business processes. You will also identify and evaluate new data sources that can add value to our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze structured and unstructured data to inform business decisions and drive growth
  • Develop and implement risk management approaches and business processes
  • Collaborate with technology and business groups to implement risk management solutions
  • Identify and evaluate new data sources that can add value to our products and services

  • Communicate complex analysis and insights to technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Graduate degree in Finance, Statistics, Math, Econometrics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. You will also need experience in risk management, data analysis, and business process improvement. Specifically, you should have:

Essential Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in risk management
  • 1 year of experience in data analysis and interpretation
  • 1 year of experience working with technical, scientific, business, and non-technical teams
  • Experience with financial and data reporting and modeling using MS Excel
  • Experience with Data bricks, Python, R, SAS, SQL, Tableau, Terawatt, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Unix

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a related field
  • Additional experience in risk management, data analysis, and business process improvement
  • Experience with project management and business change initiatives
  • Experience with industry and internal best practices
