Security Consultant, Global Services Security

About the position The Global Services, Security (GSS) team, a part of Amazon Web Services, leverages the expertise and ingenuity of our builders to establish scalable security solutions for both internal and external customers that drive business outcomes. Our goal of securing the world's workloads and building a brighter future for humanity requires us to focus on reliable delivery of bar raising security outcomes and investment in security mechanisms and automation on behalf of our customers. The AWS Security Assurance Service team, within GSS, is seeking a talented business development lead to connect with and educate internal and external customers on how our product-led, people-powered services helps operate their business securely on AWS while also demonstrating assurance that compliance objectives can be achieved. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute at the intersection of cloud, cyber security, and compliance. You will have the opportunity to work with multiple lines of business, and learn from (and contribute to) a variety of security and compliance use cases. This is a customer facing role where success is measured by positioning solutions that lead to measurable customer impact. Responsibilities • Build & deploy security infrastructure and automate security operations for customers • Collaborate on internal builder projects • Become a deep technical resource that earns our customers trust • Develop high-quality technical content such as automation tools, reference architectures, and white papers to help our consultants, partners, and customers build on the work you deliver • Innovate on behalf of customers; translate your thoughts into action with measurable results Requirements • Knowledge of the primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53 & S3) • Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments Nice-to-haves • 5+ years of IT implementation experience • Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies • Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience Benefits • Flexible working culture • Mentorship and career growth opportunities • Diverse and inclusive workplace Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
