POSITION OVERVIEW
We're seeking a skilled video editor, script writer, and researcher to create high-quality 'levels-style' educational content focused on content frameworks for marketers and brands. This role combines creative video editing with strategic research and compelling scriptwriting to build the most valuable content frameworks Instagram account.
MISSION
To become the #1 Instagram account teaching content frameworks, covering everything from effective content creation that sells to consumer psychology, buyer behavior, and content that drives revenue. The account is a personal brand with the IG @alexhyat.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Content Production (15 Shorts Per Month)
Edit and produce 15 high-quality short-form videos monthly in the 'levels-style' format
Create engaging visual storytelling using dynamic text animations, transitions, and graphics
Optimize videos for Instagram Reels format (9:16 aspect ratio)
Ensure brand consistency across all video content
Add captions, sound design, music, and visual effects to enhance engagement
2. Research & Strategy
Research content frameworks, marketing strategies, and psychological principles
Study competitor accounts and trending content in the marketing education space
Analyze reference accounts for style inspiration: @personalbrandlaunch, @avnibarman_, @therealbrianmark, @itsnaglis, @buildwithcormac
Identify viral content patterns and audience engagement triggers
Stay current on marketing trends, content psychology, and buyer behavior research
3. Scriptwriting
Write compelling, educational scripts that break down complex frameworks into digestible levels
Craft hooks that capture attention in the first 3 seconds
Structure content using the 'levels' progression format (beginner → advanced)
Ensure scripts are concise, actionable, and valuable for marketers and brands
Write for both entertainment and education, balancing value with engagement
4. Instagram Stories (7 Sales-Focused Stories Per Month)
Create 7 strategic sales-focused Instagram Stories monthly
Design stories that drive conversions, promote offers, and nurture the audience
Use persuasive copywriting and compelling visuals to encourage action
Incorporate clear calls-to-action (CTAs) and swipe-up links where applicable
Track story performance and optimize based on engagement metrics
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Video Editing
Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar)
Strong understanding of pacing, transitions, and visual storytelling
Experience with motion graphics and text animation
Knowledge of color grading, sound design, and audio mixing
Content & Marketing Knowledge
Deep understanding of content marketing frameworks and strategies
Knowledge of consumer psychology and buyer behavior
Understanding of what makes content valuable, shareable, and conversion-driven
Ability to translate complex marketing concepts into simple, engaging content
Research Skills
Strong research abilities to identify trending frameworks and valuable insights
Analytical mindset to study competitor content and audience behavior
Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into original content
Scriptwriting
Excellent copywriting skills with a focus on educational content
Ability to write concise, impactful scripts optimized for short-form video
Experience writing sales-focused content that converts without being pushy
Platform Expertise
Deep understanding of Instagram Reels and Stories algorithms
Knowledge of best practices for short-form video content
Familiarity with Instagram analytics and performance metrics
