Corporate Counsel – Business Services

Job Description: • Draft, review, and negotiate complex B2B commercial agreements (SaaS, licensing, reseller, master services, and data privacy/security) • Create and update contract templates; provide guidance on escalations and high-priority negotiations • Support the sales team throughout the customer lifecycle, from initial engagement through contract execution • Advise on regulatory, data privacy, marketing, and competition issues impacting current and prospective products • Partner with cross-functional teams to align commercial terms with legal standards and business goals • Provide legal support for mergers, acquisitions, and post-acquisition integration • Support international expansion initiatives and related compliance needs • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, including training and contract governance processes • Manage escalations, resolve customer legal inquiries, and drive efficient solutions • Coach and mentor legal staff to support professional growth • Contribute to departmental efficiency by developing and implementing administrative and reporting measures Requirements: • J.D. or equivalent law degree; licensed to practice law in the United States • 5+ years of corporate law department experience, preferably in-house • Strong negotiation, drafting, and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) • Proven ability to assimilate legal, business, and technical issues to make sound decisions • Strong integrity, business ethics, and decision-making skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines • Willingness to travel as needed (low to moderate travel anticipated) • Preferred: Experience with mergers and acquisitions • Preferred: Experience with information services regulatory compliance • Preferred: Experience with Intellectual Property law • Preferred: Experience with international expansion Benefits: • This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
