Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Patient Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Patient Customer Service department, you will play a vital role in delivering exemplary customer experiences and resolving patient billing issues. Key Responsibilities

  • Answer a high volume of inbound calls (80+ per day) from patients, doctor's offices, and private insurance carriers, providing timely and effective solutions to their inquiries and concerns.
  • Initiate payment plans for patients with outstanding balances, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone, demonstrating a commitment to first-call resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain performance goals and adhere to quality standards, ensuring that all interactions are handled in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Become proficient with our processes and systems after completing a comprehensive training program, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; previous medical and/or call center experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work and learn in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to navigate multiple computer screens and applications.
  • Alpha-Numeric data entry proficiency and ability to perform successfully in a team environment.
  • Dedicated work-from-home space and ability to manage time and tasks independently while maintaining productivity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and billing processes, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.

Technical Requirements

  • Internet download speed of at least 50 megabytes per second.
  • No satellite internet; ability to connect equipment to router/modem with Ethernet cord.
  • Equipment cannot be connected through Wi-Fi, mobile routers, or mobile hotspot with Ethernet port.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $15.25-21.00 per hour, or State/Local minimum wage, if higher.
