Drayage Sales Executive, (FULLY REMOTE, NJ HQ) - to $90k+
Overview
Our client, a NJ based full-service 3pl provider with a longstanding history, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Customer Sales Executive specializing in Drayage Sales. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to engage with clients across various industries, providing tailored supply chain solutions and expanding business relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of supply chain management, transportation systems, and B2B sales, with a proven track record in logistics sales and account management. This position is perfect for professionals eager to leverage their expertise in transportation planning, freight, and logistics sales to drive growth and deliver exceptional customer service.
Duties
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective customer relationship management (CRM) strategies. Leverage existing portfolio to generate new business opportunities.
• Identify and generate new leads through proactive outreach, leveraging lead generation techniques and CRM software tools.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including negotiation of contracts, pricing strategies, and service agreements, coordinating with operations team for ongoing support.
• Collaborate with other internal teams to ensure seamless transportation planning, dispatching, and freight execution aligned with client needs.
• Provide expert guidance on supply chain solutions, including 3PL services, NVOCC operations, carrier sales, and logistics planning.
• Track shipment movements and provide proactive updates to customers.
Experience
• Proven experience in transportation management, logistics sales, or supply chain management within a B2B environment (Strong Drayage sales background required).
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and CRM software highly desired.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively while maintaining profitable margins.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding, logistics sales strategies, contracts negotiation, and transportation planning processes.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads through various channels and develop long-term client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
